What Can Be Modded?Basically every element of Borderlands can be changed in some shape or form. The most common modifications which can be done are modifications to the statistics of weapons. This allows the player both to boost the power of their weapons if they’re in a pinch, as well as create whole new weapons if they wish to. Other commonly modified parts of the game are the player statistics, which can be manipulated to increase combat effectiveness. In the sections below, the programs used for modding and how a player can mod the game themselves will be discussed. The game’s storyline and quests can be modified, though with no real life way to distribute Borderlands mods, players would be modifying these elements of the game for their own enjoyment rather than to distribute. What Tools Do Players Need to Create Borderlands PC ModsWith a few tools, creating borderlands mods is extremely. The tools automate some aspects of what would be tedious hex editing if players were to do it by hand, and make piecing together all new weapons a breeze. For the modifying of save games, WillowTree is a tool which breaks down the internals of a save game into its constituent parts. When opening their save game, information on separate parts of the game is split into easy to understand folders such as Character, Skills, Weapons and Quests, ensuring the players are 100% sure that what they are editing is correct. Gear Calculator, found on the Borderlands Modding Wiki, allows players to construct a weapon out of all the individual parts available in game. Access to all of the individual weapon parts is built in, giving players a preview of what the weapon will look like, and when the players has finished constructing the weapon, and setting its statistics, it is then exported for use in game. Borderlands PC Mods – Modding SavegamesModding a player’s save is one of the quickest ways for them to progress through the game. By having a higher level, a character is able to dispatch enemies quicker, at a lesser chance of being injured or killed in combat. To do this, WillowTree is used to open up the save file. Once the file is loaded, character information can be found under 'General Info' From this window, most basic parts of the character can be modified. Major points to look at under this tab are the Level, Backpack Space and Cash fields. Changing these fields to higher values will give the player a huge advantage in game. Borderlands 2 Community PatchUsing the skills tab is another way the player can give themselves a huge leg up over the enemies ingame. Under the skills tab, a player’s proficiency with all sort of weapons and abilities can be modified. Modifying and Creating New WeaponsThe use of Gear Calculator allows players to create new parts combinations. The use of the tool is fairly self explanatory. All of the available parts are presented in a database-style interface where a player is able to select a weapon type, and then select the parts they would like from a pool of compatible ones. Once they have finished building the weapon, they can have name generated for it, or create one themselves from a pool of available prefixes and names. When they have completed the weapon it can then be exported for insertion into the game. This can be done using WillowTree, using the following steps.

Borderlands 2 Screenshots
Borderlands 2 is the second game of the franchise and thanks to its awesome DLCs and replayability, the game is still being played this day. If you ever want to go back and visit the good old memories of Borderlands 2 on PC though, you have another choice other than DLCs: Borderlands 2 mods. Even though not as big as Skyrim or Fallout series, Borderlands still has a modest modding community on PC. From simple graphical updates to overhauls and gameplay additions, here are the best Borderlands 2 mods.
11 Borderlands 2 Mods1. Third-Person Mod
Third-Person Mod lets you experience Borderlands 2 from a third-person view angle and it feels like a different game altogether. Although the shooting mechanics are still there, it feels like more of an open-world RPG without the FPS elements. Great for another playthrough.

2. Sam’s Borderlands2 SweetFX
Sam’s Borderlands2 SweetFX is a graphical mod that mainly deepens the colors and fixes some anti-aliasing issues. It fine-tunes FXAA anti-aliasing, adds HDR and high-quality Gaussian Bloom and makes the colors more vibrant. There are some screenshot comparisons on the mod page that lets you see the differences with the mods preset and without the preset.

3. Borderlands 2 Tweaker
This useful small mod adds even more graphical options to the game. You can turn off god rays, distortion, adjust dynamic lighting and shadow resolution and choose the time the corpses take to despawn. If you do not have a performance issue, though, it can turn off texture fade-in which is the slow texture streaming to objects when a container is opened. The mod also enables the console.

4. Borderlands Profile Editor
If you want to change certain aspects of your character but do not want to take the time to actually work for it, Borderlands Profile Editor lets you do that. It can edit Badass Ranks, Badass Tokens, Golden Keys, max health, shield capacity, shield recharge delay, shield recharge rate, melee damage and much more.

5. Borderlands 2 Unofficial Community Patch
Borderlands 2 Unofficial Community Patch is a patch made by the players to fix and rebalance some of the rough edges of the game. It features bug fixes, cosmetic changes, unique features, gear/skill changes etc. Community patches are usually hit or miss and the comments to this mod is pretty mixed, so you are going to have to try it out for yourself to actually see whether you like it or not. In our opinion, it is one of the best Borderlands 2 mods out there.

6. Difficulty Mod
Is the Borderlands 2 getting too easy for you? This mod uses a simple memory hack to change the number of players Borderlands sees and tricks the game into thinking there are more players in it. Of course, more players mean more and tougher enemies. But also, better loot!

7. Texture Modding Tool
What if I told you that you can edit those colorful textures in Borderlands 2 into whatever you like? If you have the time, the ability and the creativity, you can create anything with this BL2 graphics mod. You can edit the whole world into something realistic, beautiful or horrifying. With this, the power is in your hands.

8. Borderlands 2 All Level 72 Character Game Saves
This Borderlands 2 add-on includes all of the level 72 character game saves. We do not recommend using it if you haven’t reached that level by legit means, but if you are a seasoned Borderlands 2 veteran and do not want to use glitches/exploits to power level one character for 2-3 hours, this mod just does it for you.

9. Fight For Your Life Lands 2
Fight For Your Life Lands 2 is a huge Borderlands 2 overhaul mod which makes the game harder, but more rewarding. It changes almost everything in the game: Guns, Items, Skills, Enemies, Slot Machines, etc. The full list of changes is just huge; it even changes the animation speed of some enemies. It is recommended that you play this with a fresh new game and with 2-3 players.

10. Ultra Low Config for Borderlands 2
If you have a really low-end PC or just want to play the game on your small laptop wherever you go, Ultra Low Config mod for Borderlands 2 just goes beyond the lowest possible graphical settings and makes the game look decades old, but increases the performance significantly in the process.

11. Borderlands 2 Game Mules
Do you want all the rare items in the game? We do not blame you since farming for these items can get tedious at times. This mod package has 3 game saves that have all the rare items in the game. You need both Ultimate Vault Hunter Packs for it to work properly, though.

When Gearbox released Borderlands 2 in 2012, it had a novel idea: 'SHiFT codes,' which players could find on Borderlands' forums and social media accounts and enter into the game to unlock rare weapons and cosmetics. Shift codes come in two main varieties:
Today Borderlands 2 is still going strong on Steam, and Gearbox is still doling out new Shift codes. In fact, Gearbox dropped some big ones when it announced Borderlands 3.
If you're playing Borderlands 2 for the first time or replaying it while you wait for Borderlands 3, why not load up on rare guns and cool skins? Below we've collected tons of Borderlands 2 Shift codes that unlock skins or big piles of keys, and we've also listed some time-sensitive codes for Golden Keys that are current as of June 2019.
How do I use Borderlands 2 SHiFT codes?
There are a couple easy ways to redeem Borderlands Shift codes for Golden Keys and other in-game items.
Borderlands 2 Gun Mods Pc
1. Online: Go to Shift.GearboxSoftware.com and create a free account, or login using your Steam account. Once you link the Shift site to your Steam account, go to the Rewards tab and copy/paste a key to redeem it.
2. In-game: In Borderlands 2, go to Main Menu > Extras > Shift Code. Once you're on that menu, you'll see a list of previously redeemed Shift codes. Click the Shift Code button at that bottom of that window, then paste in the 25-digit Shift code. Done!
Borderlands Community Mod Manager (BLCMM) is a mod management and authoring tool for Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel. It replaces UCP Filter Tool, and for the most part it should feel very familiar to anyone who's already used FilterTool.
Last seed skyrim nexus. BLCMM can be used to:
BLCMM is distributed via Dropbox found here.
Updates are automatically distributed, so you only download it once and you're done.
Windows users should download the EXE found in the Windows folder. Linux and Mac users should download the
.jar file found in the Mac/Linux folder. Store the file anywhere you like (it does not have to be in a Borderlands Binaries directory like FilterTool required) and double-click to launch the launcher. The launcher will retreive the latest version of BLCMM and auto-update when launched, if needed.
For Mac/Linux users, if double-clicking on the Jar file doesn't work, try running
java -jar BLCMM_Launcher.jar from the commandline/terminal.
A changelog can be found in the
Help menu inside BLCMM itself, but a mirror is also kept at the BLCMM Changelog page.
BLCMM requires the latest verison of Java 8, available here
More official documentation is forthcoming. For now, if you're familiar with FilterTool already, you may want to look at the page about Functional Changes from FilterTool to BLCMM, which talks about some of the changes which might not be immediately apparent.
